Corey Arceneaux&The Zydeco Hot Peppers

Corey Arceneaux is a new breed of Zydeco musician. His Music blends rhythm and blues into traditional Zydeco. Yet Arceneaux tempers this change with a strong adherence to the past. “Clifton Chenier and Buckwheat Zydeco are my two musical idols. I try to pattern myself after Clifton Chenier and I like the way Buckwheat plays accordion.” Arceneaux advises other young musicians to stick to the roots of Zydeco and stick to their dream.
