The 22nd. annual World's Championship Crawfish Etouffee Cook-Off was a huge success this year. This year the cook-off was again held at The Northwest Community Center Pavilion. There were over 37 teams competing for the top trophies at the cook-off this year. The crowd was large with many visitors from throughout the United States. The samples of etouffee were ready to eat early, starting around 10:00 am. The taste of the etouffee was as varied as the variety of people there. The weather was beautiful the whole day. Better weather couldn't have been ordered for the event. It was sunny with a slight overcast. The temperature averaged in the mid 70's throughout the day. There were fun jumps for the kids and music and dancing for the adults Trophies for the winners were awarded at 2:30 pm. The results are listed below. Music and dancing continued until 4:00 pm. Plenty of music and food was enjoyed by all that attended. All the winners are listed below. |
