Billy and Bobbye Keyes have extensive experience dancing Cajun dances. Their professional teaching experience began at Randol's Restaurant in Shreveport Louisiana and has continued over the last several years at Universities across Louisiana and other states. Their upbeat, dynamic approach to the dances has inspired hundreds to join in the fun and excitement of the Cajun music and dance. They dance regularly in the Lafayette area as members of a dance group that supports Blackie Forrestier and the Cajun Aces. In 1998, the Keyes were selected by the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism to participate in a media blitz of major markets in the eastern third of the U.S. to publicize Franco-Fete '99, a year long celebration of the influence of French culture in Louisiana.
